ski resort (echigo yuzawa)

I never have so much energy to wake up in the saturday 8 am just to prepared my self to play ski. obviously, last week was an exception. early morning calls from my friends made me join them to echigo yuzawa, mentioned as the world class ski town in Japan. one of the resorts named: "Gala". prior, some of my friends have been there for enjoying winter holidays.
 I heard some good stories and shared pictures on facebook page about echigo yuzawa. unfortunately, I didn't buy it. I wasn't so interested to go there because too much snow in my daily. until last week, that roulette pinned my door.

frankly I was expecting very high to this place, not only for the ski tracks but also for the very enjoyable scenery. so we rented a car to the station and continued to local train to echigo yuzawa. one hour trip and finally we arrived. amazingly, this place lived from the snow.  in every corner I could see all stores related to ski, started from ski equipment, ski resorts and hotels, snowboard stores, boots and shoes, even they provided the skis and snowboard racks inside the station.
and guess what, everything's just beyond my expectations...
