surabaya, one of the oldest city in indonesia, known as the central business in the eastern java, where ships and black market transactions live the city. the prostitue is unseparable, even the bigger one in south east while the people are very tolerable about it. I never seen in any part of indonesia where prostitute is just like the daily life.
there are just few wonderful view to visit, a not-so-expensive foods but not-so-good taste of it.
the diversity might be similar to jakarta as well, but the religion fanatics are not as strong as jakarta. they have no control over citizen, so we can see less riot rather than other places.
